is now open for the Saturday, July 4 session at the Killaloe Public School.
The three hour course starts at 8:30 and ends just after the noon
hour with a multiple-choice test. Those who successfully pass the test
(everyone seems to) will receive their temporary permit on the spot.
The permanent license is mailed within weeks and this is covered in
the cost.
Please
note that this is the last course of this type that will be offered before
the deadline of September 2009, after which everyone operating a power
boat of any size will need their license.
Bring
your own refreshments to the course.
