Members of the Golden lake Property Owners Association have been in contact with prospective cell service providers during the fall and winter months. We have been encouraged to undertake a plan to gather names and basic pertinent information of residents, seasonal dwellers and visitors to the area to quantify potential uptake of cell phone service. They will welcome such data which they can utilize in evaluating priorities for future development investment. In order to do this, we are conducting a survey and ask for your participation. By way of discussions at an Inter-Lake Committee, which includes representation from Golden Lake, Round Lake, Paugh Lake, Mink Lake, Lake Dore and Lake Clear, we have created the “Highway 60 Corridor Cell Phone Task Force”. Already reply coupons have been mailed out with some tax notices. The Eganville Leader is helping us promote this survey with timely articles and display advertising.
