One of the most important services provided by GLPOA to its residents
and visitors is the comprehensive network of shoal marker buoys and
channel markers, including the four billboard marker maps placed at the
boat launching sites. This is a costly program that is made possible by
those companies and agencies that advertise on the launch site billboards.
